Multiplier event:

severe goes to Brussels!

Our team led a showcase of EU funded projects, held at Scotland House, Brussels, from 27th-28th October 2022.

The conference was a celebration of changemakers, innovators and pioneers who have been able to develop projects through European funding, with a special session on Strategic Partnerships and SEVERE in particular, where then latest version of the Handbook was presented. The event was also an opportunity for UK institutions to explore opportunities still open to them and to highlight their commitment to future collaboration despite difficulties facing them.

Natalia Popielska (GCU), chaired a discussion on the objectives and intended results of the project detailing the Handbook, the Virtual Incubation Space (Glocal), and training/mentoring programme.

Conference attendees had the opportunity to receive a copy of the handbook to review so they could promote it further and network with other SEVERE team members from UPF, PIN and UA attending the event.

The next steps for the project were also discussed, in particular the imminent launch of the Virtual Internship platform and the E-book of remote social innovation projects.
It was particularly inspiring to hear the reflections of students participating in the project, confirming how much the SEVERE experience has changed their lives.
